New Capabilities Up and Running (October 1, 2001)

With the recent installation of a 9-color state-of-the-art UV Flexo Chromas press, Tapecon capabilities have taken a giant step. The Chromas InstaPrep press is equiped with Instant Change Technology that reduces set-up times and minimizes waste with "slide-in" cartridges and self-correcting registration. Enormous productivity gains have been realized through increased press speeds, improved color consistency, tighter registration control, and finer print quality.

But that's only the beginning. In addition, Tapecon added a Total Register, foil-saver hot stamping unit which has the capability of economically inserting foil stamped outlines, borders, graphics, images or holograms in perfect registration and at speeds up to 200 feet per minute. Customized holograms or imaged foil can be indexed and stamped onto any substrate for dazzling effects.
