Buffalo Plant Adds Sakurai MF-80 Press And Clean Room (December 19, 2000)

Tapecon Buffalo has installed a new fully automatic flatbed press called the MF-80 by Sakurai. This press will run with the two Sakurai cylinder presses. One of the dryers is being rebuilt for better efficiency and the entire pressroom is being upgraded with climate control and 10,000-class clean room status. The MF-80 press has the capability of printing thinner plastic films with more consistent ink lay down. The dryer modifications will improve ink-curing rates and maximize solvent removal. Climate control ensures more consistent results year round, and clean room status will decrease defects due to dirt, dust and particulates for window and surface texture printing.
