- Tapecon contributes toward a competitive health insurance plan, available the 1st of the month after hire, offered through Blue Cross/Blue Shield, allowing employees to select their own service providers and visit specialists under the freedom of a PPO plan.
- All full-time employees are provided a basic life insurance policy at no cost to them, with additional coverage available at a low-cost weekly premium
- A comprehensive Dental Plan is available, with full preventive coverage and excellent rates on all other services
- An FSA (Flexible Spending Account) is available for medical expenditure reimbursement and dependent care, paid through weekly pre-tax payroll deductions

- Tapecon offers an enhanced version of New York State’s disability program, paying an additional 16% over the statutory rate and administering it through our payroll system so that our employees receive their check directly from Tapecon instead of waiting for pay to arrive from the state program.

- New hires are given one full week of vacation after six months of employment, and a week every six months following. After five years of employment, the accrual increases to one week every four months, and upon twenty years of employment, the accrual increases again to every three months, totaling up to four weeks of vacation per year!

- Employees celebrating milestone anniversaries are honored with our gratitude and more- a company gift at 5 years of service, 10 years, and a gift and monetary award for each 5-year increment beyond. For certain long-term milestones, the company celebrates with cake and lunch for everyone.
- We celebrate our accomplishments, with pizza parties and catered luncheons. Why not? Our employees deserve it!
- All employees are encouraged to recognize and reward one another for exceptional service or performance. Recognition Awards, presented at company meetings and often accompanied by a monetary award, are presented frequently and can be suggested by anyone
- In Tapecon We Trust: our version of the dollar is called a Simoleon. Each one is worth approximately $3.33 and presented to employees on an ongoing basis as a Thank-You from managers, supervisors and team leaders. Redeem them for gift cards to grocery and retail stores, restaurants, gas stations, movie tickets, car washes, and more!

- Employees are each given their own holiday for their birthday- because, after all, it’s your day!
- Paid Earned Time Off: good attendance pays off. Employees with a qualifying standard of attendance are given the opportunity to earn 4 hours of paid time off per quarter, with a yearly bonus also available
- We put the ‘fun’ in ‘fundraising’: Tapecon employees participate in ongoing efforts to earn money for items of their choice that benefit the workforce
- Tapecon offers our employees a variety of opportunities to attend different events throughout the year, including major sporting events such as Bills, Sabres, Bisons and Bandits games, as well as headlining concerts and events at HSBC Arena
- Employees who refer a candidate who is hired and remains on the company payroll for at least six months receive a savings bond in appreciation.
- Tapecon sponsors an annual golf tournament, offering an opportunity for employees and guests to get together and enjoy themselves by engaging in a little friendly competition. The tournament includes play on an 18-hole course, a buffet lunch, and great opportunities to win prizes.
- Tapecon’s Sunshine Policy demonstrates the importance of workplace support in times of grief and sickness, sending a gift, flowers, remembrance or donation in the event of hospitalization or bereavement of an employee or their immediate family members.
- Employees observing their co-workers following safety protocol enter them in a monthly drawing called “Caught You Safe” for the chance to win a cash prize, increasing awareness of proper safety procedures.
- Tapecon’s 5S Workplace Organization Program rewards individuals and departments monthly for their achievements with lunch of their choice and a Golden Broom Award

Giving Back to the Community: Thinking Globally, Acting Locally
- Tapecon employees participate yearly in the United Way Day Of Caring, doing anything and everything- washing windows, painting walls, pulling weeds, and tending to our neighbors, young and old
- Our Employees offer generous donations to the United Way, through weekly payroll deductions or as one-time cash gifts
- Our annual Holiday Food Drive benefits the Food Bank of Western New York, providing meals and supplies to families and individuals in need during the holiday season
