*Custom Converting and Fabrications*

With our varied knowledge of conductive metals, plastic films and adhesives, Tapecon has the ability to combine multiple converting techniques to fabricate intricate and unique constructions.  Our in-house engineering and R&D teams design and develop solutions for customer applications.  Our Custom Converting and Fabrications group produces RFI/EMI shielding tapes and laminates, lead attachment assemblies, diecut and laminated shielding assemblies, foam and foil constructions, electrically and thermally conductive pressure-sensitive and adhesive products, and much more.  Our diverse capabilities include slitting, laminating, diecutting, lead/wire attachments, adhesive lamination, assembly, forming, bending, and combining adhesives, films, foams and foils.  Tapecon's Custom Converting and Fabrications group serves the medical, aerospace, electronics, telecommunications, and automotive industries and is a supplier to many OEM's.

*Decals, Overlays & Nameplates*

Tapecon's printed Decals, Overlays & Nameplates offer our customers a durable product that is resistant to weather, UV light, fading, chemicals and abrasion.  These products can also feature selective/zoned adhesives, custom textures and optically clear materials.  Our Decal, Overlay & Nameplate group produces flexible decals and nameplates, keyboard overlays, bumper stickers, static-cling decals, point-of-purchase advertising, double-sided decals, diecut/prespaced legends and logos, domed labels, outdoor decals, UL/CSA approved decals, embossed foil seals, full or selective adhesive constructions, decal kits, in-mold decals (IMD), radio frequency identification decals (RFID), and much more.  Our Decals, Overlays & Nameplates are printed with screen printing, digital web offset (HP Indigo) and digital thermal transfer (Gerber Edge) technologies.

*Digital Printing*

Tapecon's digital printing technologies allow us to offer our customers high-quality, short to medium-run labels, decals and membrane overlays with quicker turnarounds.  Cost savings are achieved by eliminating films, plates, screens and traditional material waste.  Our digital printing technologies also allow us to produce products with custom numbering, barcodes and even fully-variable images.  These systems are integrated with our digital finishing systems which eliminate the need for tooling.  We produce signs, labels, decals, nameplates, pre-spaced lettering, window graphics, vehicle and floor grahpics, membrane switch overlays, prototypes of all types, variable images and data, and point-of-purchase materials on our digital presses.  Our digital presses include digital web offset (HP Indigo) and digital thermal transfer (Gerber Edge) technologies.

*Labels*

When it comes to labels, Tapecon has unparalleled capabilities and know-how to deliver high-impact products that decorate, identify and protect your products.  With Flexo, UV Flexo, Rotary Letterpress, Rotary Screen and Digital printing capabilities, Tapecon has the firepower to match the most appropriate print technology to your needs.  We can also enhance and protect your products with our in-line hotstamping and embossing, overlaminating and UV coatings, doming, and in-line hologram capabilities.  Further, Tapecon offers solutions in RFID labels and label insertion, source tagging and laser etch constructions.

*Membrane Switches & Keypads*

Tapecon is a recognized leader in the membrane switch technology arena.  With our years of experience in the design and production of membrane switches and keypads, we will work with you to define your requirements, guide you through all available options and processes to proactively design both quality and reliability into your product.  Our skilled production facilities and quality assurance staff will ensure the continued integrity of your product.  Our membrane switch constructions can include selective textured coatings, racetrack/pillow/custom embossing, tactile "click" buttons, inserted custom lenses, housings, metal backers, cable assemblies, embedded component technologies such as LED's and stainless steel domes, EL backlit panels, and elastomeric keypads.  Tapecon also provides ESD, RFI and EMI shielding, 100% testing, hybrid PC boards/switches, modular/edge/pin connectors and CAD design.
