As Tapecon is growing, we are excited to continue to provide our clients with superior service. We have decided to add two new customer services representatives to our team. Congratulations to Melissa Pilinger and Sandra Blevins, who are our newest customer service representative and both hired from within!
Melissa is a graduate from RIT with a degree in New Media Publishing. She started with Tapecon in 2010 in the art department creating proofs and plated for Flexo and later added IP inspection to her agenda for one of Tapecon’s largest clients. Melissa then worked as a Master Scheduler and made sure that all the presses and jobs were running smoothly and that products would ship on schedule. Eager to learn more, Melissa asked to be trained on Flexographic press. She was then able to understand problems that operators were having and have the knowledge to ask the right questions to help get them up and running again. Melissa was promoted to Production Supervisor and responsible for second and third shift. With additional eagerness to grown within the company, Melissa applied and was accepted to be promoted as Customer Service Representative.
Sandra has been a member of the Tapecon Family since 2007. Sandra has worked in the printing industry since 1998 holding positions as an Ink Lab Tech, Press operator, Production Planner, Graphic Artist, Manufacturing Supervisor and Master Scheduler. Sandra is certified as a Six Sigma Green belt, internal ISO 9001 and 13485 auditor. With 8 years at Tapecon and a job well done, Sandra was recently asked to join the Customer Service Team and gladly accepted the new challenge!
